2. ZCF Bangalore Leadership Seminar (Oct.11-12, 2014) : The Seminar organized by Zomi Christian Fellowship, Bangalore, was attended by around 100 members. Pau started off on the topic „Christian Life in a Metro City‟ by characterising the 21st century metro cities with rush, crowd and noise. He highlighted on the problems faced by Christians in metro cities, citing an example of sexual immorality and how to set up the boundaries based on Proverbs 7: 1-27. The second topic on „Christian leadership with special focus on Youth Leaders‟ was based on the life of Joseph. The third topic on ‘Christian Family‟ was quite an interesting one, filled with learning and laughter. Pau and Lucy shared their love story, how they met and found God’s will. Based on Genesis 2:18-25, they spoke on biblical principles of marriage.
Some of the feedbacks are: “City life with respect to Sodom and Gomorrah was very relevant. It was a good warning and cautioning topic”. “The 10 points of Joseph’s Style of Leadership will really help me in my personal and professional life”. “Practical real life examples were most helpful. I was most impressed with how Dr. Pau and Lucy keep family as their top priority.”
3. Young Professionals Retreat (October 23rd, 2014) : A very good turn out with 37 professionals from all walks of life. The day began with worship led by Welcome Ministries & Gibson Marak took the time for introduction. Dr. Pau led the devotion titled “The Queen, the Builder & the Clergy”. The participants were grouped into 6 teams & asked to discuss about “What are some of the hindrances they face to be salt & light in their workplace & suggest some practical steps to overcome it”. Four professionals shared their powerful testimonies about the challenges they face in their workplaces and how they intentionally try to live out their faith. There was also a time of interaction with the Resource Persons. The session ended by blessing each participant to be HIS witnesses.
Some of the feedbacks: · It was a very interactive session, lots of time for discussions rather than sitting & listening to sermon after sermon. · Surprised to learn from others that they too face similar problems like me. · It was a unique experience & was very blessed by the testimonies & could learn a lot from Uncle Pau’s sharing.
