Lamka, Feb 14 : Lamka SC and FC Khanglai stormed into the semi finals of the ongoing Zomi Nam Ni cum Mithun Festival football tournament held at Lamka public ground, Churachandpur.

The LSC side managed to lead against their quarter-final opponent M Songgel YC early as G Golmei scored two consecutive goals in the 10 and 25 minute. Momocha Singh added another goal in the 31st minute taking the lead to 3-0 in the first half.

Thanggoulian’s strike in the 64th minute helped LSC to take a comfortable 4-0 lead.

The only goal for MSYC came in the 78th minute after Seiboi found the net.

In another match, Khanglai FC and Zomi FC played out a goalless draw at the end of the regulation time.
