University of Nottingham Undergraduate September Intake 2017
Dear all,
University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus is taking in new students for the Undergraduate Taster Courses Programme for Refugees and Asylum Seekers for September Intake. As noted, please fill up the attached application form completely and send it back to [email protected] by 31th July 2017.
Please send the application and statement as a single word file. Please provide scanned copies of certificates where possible and send a single email containing the application form, statements and scanned certificates. Any application that are not complete or sent in multiple emails will not be considered. Only successful applicants will be contacted.
This programme is open to all refugees and asylum seeker with valid UNHCR card and not in the end process of resettlement. Applicants should be aged between 17-30 years old and meet the minimum requirement of the courses chosen. The programme is 100% scholarship NOT including living expenses such as accommodation, transport of book materials. Applicants should consider if they can afford the living expenses before applying for the course (eg. can you support your family if you stop working full time or part time to study, can your income sustain your transport, food and book cost?)
The university is 45 minutes away from city centre. Hence, transportation cost can be high. Below is the address:
Jalan Broga, 43500 Semenyih, Selangor, Malaysia. Classes would start in September 2017 and the course duration is minimum 3 years.

Only successful applicants will be notified for interview. If you do not hear from us 2 weeks after, it means that you have not be selected for this intake. Bear in mind that students are selected based on their English proficiency and subject requirements (eg. good in Mathematics for Science courses) and hence only apply to courses that you are qualified for to increase your chance of enrolment.
