Zomi Association of USA is an emerging non-profit organization registered with the State of Oregon. Registry Number: 593147-90. EIN: 26-4574969. Zomi Association of USA was formerly established as Zomi Christian Network (ZCN) in 2005.

In March 2009 Zomi Christian Network was reorganized and changed its name to Zomi Association of USA (ZAUS), with the intention of strengthening and supporting newly arrived refugees families, and individuals so they can become self-sufficient and contributing members of society, to participate in civic engagement and to advocate for human rights.

ZAUS has partnership with government agencies, other non-profit organizations and other communities on issues of mutual interest, regardless of their ethnic background or national of origin. ZAUS has network with Zomi communities around the United States and worldwide. In 2014 Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) grants enabled ZAUS to open its office at Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO).
