Report from Elim Resource Center Ministry Team

Loving greetings from Elim Resource Center Ministry Team!
We take this opportunity to share with you what the Lord has been doing through our humble ministry.
1 . Myanmar Young Leaders Cohort (Oct.29-Nov.1, 2014) : 14 key leaders from different denominations attended the Leadership Cohort at Sane Le Tin Resort, about 3 hrs drives by car from Yangon. Pau and Gibson facilitate the topics on Spiritual Formation and Conflict Management. Cindy and Caleb took the two morning devotions.
Some of the feedbacks are:
“The topics are incredible and the life examples of the facilitators complement the lessons taught”
“Could you please allow us to use these materials in our ministries?” expressed by most of the delegate.
2. Pastors & Spouse Marriage Enrichment Seminar, Kalemyo, Myanmar (Nov.5-7, 2014): The Marriage Seminar for Pastors & their spouses was attended by 47 couples coming from various denominations. Rev. Job Thawngno & Rev. Go Nang coordinated the program. The Seminar was hosted by Agape Ministries Center under the able leadership of Rev. Go Nang and his team. The evening worship service was open for all. Some of the feedbacks are as follows:
“We are now able to share our feelings without being afraid of misunderstanding”
“We are blessed tremendously with practical examples of husband and wife relationship, and how we are to treat and care for one another”
3. Guwahati city Pastors & Spouses One Day Outing (November 15): 7 Couples had a wonderful time of outdoor fun & dating each other at the Spring Valley Resort, Guwahati. Each couple were encouraged to spend time sharing & praying together.
4. Facilitators Learning Workshop, RRTC, Meghalaya (November 18-22): Elim Resource Center, Guwahati in partnership with Himalayan Leaders Initiative, Siliguri organized the workshop, providing an opportunity for the facilitators of our region to be better equipped & learn further skills & techniques. There were 13 participants from North-East India & it was a time of learning from Colin Rye – Consultant, DAI UK who did a great job.
5. Assam Theological Graduates Consultation, Golaghat, (November 21-23): Pau participated as a resource person at the first theological graduates consultation organized by Assam Baptist Convention. Mr. Ray Chawdhuri, General Secretary of Assam Baptist Convention led the two morning devotions. 35 participants listened, discussed and prayed to unite themselves in strengthening the mission and evangelism in the Brahmaputra Valley.
